Note. Refuel your vehicle with unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 95.
You will need: a can of gasoline, a special funnel for the fuel tank neck, which has a narrowing that excludes refueling with leaded gasoline.
Note. At nozzle tips of dispensers for leaded gasoline (old-style columns with pointers) was an enlarged diameter. Therefore, to prevent accidental refueling with such gasoline, the diameter of the filler neck is made smaller than that of the tips of the pistols of these dispensers, therefore, the tip of the funnel must also be of small diameter.
Attention! Do not smoke or use open flames while refueling.
Note. If at the gas station where you expected to refuel the car, you have just drained fuel from a fuel truck, it is better to look for another column or return in a few hours. The fact is that not all dispensers are equipped with good cleaning filters and it takes time for all the dirt in gasoline to settle to the bottom of the gas station tank. Refuel your car at trusted gas stations. The power and durability of the engine directly depend on the quality of gasoline.
Note. Wipe off gasoline spilled on body parts immediately with a clean cloth.
Note. When refueling, do not use plastic cans or containers as there is a risk of sparks due to static electricity.
The fuel cap is located on the left rear fender under a flap.
1. Insert the key into the lock, turn clockwise..
2. … and open the cover until it locks into place.
3. Turn the fuel tank cap counterclockwise..
Attention! Since fuel vapors can create increased pressure inside the tank, unscrew the filler cap slowly. This will equalize the pressure inside the tank with atmospheric. If you see steam coming out from under the plug or hear a hissing sound, stop loosening the plug and wait until the noise stops. Otherwise, fuel may splash out of the tank.
4.... and remove it.
5. Insert the fuel dispenser nozzle into the fuel filler neck and refuel the vehicle. If you are refueling the car from a canister, then before refueling, insert a funnel into the fuel tank neck and fill in gasoline from the canister.
6. After filling, turn the cap clockwise until it clicks into place. The plug is equipped with a torque limiter, so after a click it will turn.
7. Close the cover of the manhole of the filling pipe and remove the drips of gasoline with a rag.
