Body armature lubrication

To prolong body life, lubricate friction parts at every maintenance (at least every 20,000 km or once a year). If squeaks, jams appear, immediately clean the relevant parts, and then apply lubricant (the type of lubricant is indicated in brackets).

The body must be lubricated at the following points.



1. Door hinges (engine oil).



2. Door stop mechanism (engine oil).



3. Door locks (Silicone Grease).



4. Driver's door lock switch cylinders..



5.... fuel filler caps..



6.... and tailgate (aerosol silicone lubricant).



7. Hinges…



8.... and hood lock (engine oil).



9. Exterior mirror hinge (aerosol silicone lubricant).



10. Lock latch (aerosol silicone lubricant) …



11.... and tailgate hinges (engine oil).

12. Rubber seals for side doors and tailgate (aerosol silicone lubricant).

13. Rear seat backrests (engine oil).
