Removal and installation of the collector

You will need: socket head «for 8», «on 10», «at 15», keys «at 13», «at 22».

1. Place the vehicle on a pit or lift.

2. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

3. Remove the engine (see «Removal and installation of the engine»).



4. Turn out four bolts of the top fastening of the thermofilter of a katkollektor.



5. Remove two bolts from the left..



6.... and two bolts each on the right side of the lower mounting of the heat shield of the collector..




7.... and remove the upper thermal screen of the collector.



8. Remove one bolt from the left..



9.... and the right side of the attachment of the lower thermal screen to the collector..



10.... and remove the lower thermal screen.


11. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a katkollektor to the block of cylinders.



12. Unscrew the four nuts securing the collector flange to the cylinder head..



13.... unscrew the central bolt..



14.... and remove the collector..



15.... and a gasket.

16. Install the collector in the reverse order of removal.
