Removal and installation of the fuel rail

You will need a socket «on 10».

1. Reduce the pressure in the supply system (see «Reducing the pressure in the power system»).

2. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

3. Remove the air filter (see «Removal and installation of the air filter»).



4. Squeeze the tabs..



5.... and disconnect the fuel supply line.



6. Disconnect the outlet line in the same way.



7. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a fuel stage.



8. Remove the fuel rail by carefully prying the injectors out of the inlet pipe holes.



9. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the pressure regulator.

10. Remove the nozzles from the ramp (see «Removing, checking and installing fuel injectors»).

11. Install the fuel rail and all previously removed parts in reverse order.

12. Start up the engine and check up tightness of connections of pipelines and consolidations of nozzles.
