You will need: a metal rod with a diameter of 3 mm (e.g. drill or long screw), ruler.
1. Remove the lining of the floor tunnel (see «Removal and installation of floor tunnel lining»).
2. Place the transmission control lever in the neutral position and fix it by inserting a metal rod with a diameter of 3 mm into the fork of the leash and into the opening of the backstage (this operation is shown on the removed backstage).
3. Remove the crankcase protection (if available).
4. Remove the shift cover (see «Replacing the transmission control cables»).
5. Unlock the end of the gear selection cable by pressing the end release button (Red) …
6.... and slide it out of the tip.
7. Move the gear selector all the way up (in this case, the tip will also move up the cable). Measure the length of the threaded part of the cable.
8. Move the lever all the way down and again measure the length of the threaded part of the cable (the difference between the two measurements is the value of the full stroke of the lever).
9. Move the lever up half way and secure the tip to the cable by pushing the red button into the tip.
10. Establish a cover of a casing of the mechanism of a gear change.
11. Remove the fixing rod from the hole in the link of the gearbox control lever.
12. Start up the engine and check up clearness of inclusion of all transfers. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
13. Install floor tunnel lining.
