Removal and installation of the mechanism of a window regulator

The power window mechanism is riveted to the door frame.

1. Remove the door interior trim panel.

2. Remove foam rubber cover.

3. Raise up to the stop and support the glass.

4. Unscrew the two screws securing the glass to the power window. Fix the glass in the upper position, supporting it from below with a wooden lath.



5. If equipped, remove the power window motor connector.

6. Unscrew the two screws securing the glass guides.



7. Drill out four rivets (indicated by arrows), holding the window regulator.

8. Remove the power window through the large opening in the inner door panel.

9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, it is necessary to use new rivets.
