Replacing the front wheel speed sensor

Withdrawal

1. Loosen the nuts securing the respective front wheel.

2. Raise the car and remove the wheel.

3. Unscrew the rotation sensor mounting bolts.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rotation sensor.



5. Remove sensor (indicated by an arrow).

6. Detach the sensor cable from the spring clips.

Installation

1. Clean the wheel speed sensor mounting socket from dirt, rust, etc.

2. Lightly lubricate the sensor mounting socket with bearing grease.

3. Install a new O-ring on the sensor.

4. Install the speed sensor in its socket.

5. Tighten the sensor mounting bolt.

6. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor and hook the electrical wire in the spring clips.

7. Install the wheel and lower the car.

8. Tighten the wheel nuts to the correct torque.
