Installation of adaptation 14.026 at removal of the shock-absorber from a rotary knuckle of a wheel
Withdrawal
1. Loosen the front wheel nuts on the corresponding side.
2. Raise and support the vehicle and remove the front wheel.
3. Remove the brake caliper without disconnecting the hydraulic lines and hang it to the body with a soft wire.
4. Loosen the brake disc fixing screw and remove the disc.
5. Remove the cotter pins and unscrew the castellated nuts of the ball joints from the steering knuckle.
6. Press the tie rod ball joint out of the steering knuckle with special tool 13.006.
7. Press the control arm ball joint out of the steering knuckle using a puller.
8. Unscrew the clamping bolt of the lower mounting of the suspension strut from the steering knuckle.
9. Detach suspension strut from steering knuckle with tool 14.026 and remove steering knuckle.
Installation
To install the steering knuckle, follow the steps in reverse order with respect to the removal process.
