2. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle and remove the front wheels.
3. Support the control arm pivot using a jack.
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the suspension strut to the steering knuckle of the wheel.
5. Insert special tool 14.026 into the cutout of the steering knuckle and turn it by 90°, loosening the lower mounting of the suspension strut. If there is no tool, open the steering knuckle with a screwdriver (arrow) or a lever.
6. Push down on the steering knuckle until the suspension strut is released, being careful not to damage the brake hose.
7. Hang the steering knuckle to the body so that it does not touch the brake hoses.
8. Unscrew the three nuts in the engine compartment (indicated by arrows) suspension mounts.
9. Remove suspension strut downwards.
10. Install the suspension strut in the appropriate location.
11. Check shock absorber rod alignment
12. Insert special tool 14.026 into the groove of the steering knuckle and turn it by 90°.
13. Install the lower part of the strut in the steering knuckle and remove special tool 14.026.
14. Screw in the strut-to-wheel knuckle bolt and tighten to the correct torque.
15. Screw on the wheels, lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts to the correct torque.
16. Check front wheel alignment.
