Towing a car

The towing brackets are indicated by arrows.

The front towing bracket is located on the right under the front bumper.

The rear towing bracket is located on the left under the rear bumper.

When towing a vehicle, be sure to turn on the ignition in order to unlock the steering and ensure the operation of electrical units.

Set the transmission control lever to the neutral position, and in the presence of an automatic transmission - to the position "N".

Due to the fact that the engine is not running, it is necessary to apply more force on the brake pedal when braking, and in vehicles with power steering, more effort will be required to turn the steering wheel.

The vehicle must only be towed forward.

When towing a car with an automatic transmission, the maximum towing speed is no more than 50 km/h, with a towing distance of no more than 50 kilometers. To tow the vehicle over long distances, the vehicle must be towed with the rear raised.

Attention! It is forbidden to start the engine from towing in cars with an automatic transmission and in the presence of a catalyst.
