Maintenance every 10,000 km or once a year

Change engine oil and filter.

Check the condition of the auxiliary drive belt and, if necessary, adjust its tension.

On the OHC engine, tighten the intake manifold mounting bolts.

On a diesel engine, drain the water from the fuel filter and replace the fuel filter.

Replace spark plugs.

Adjust valve clearance.

Check idle speed and CO adjustment.

Check the condition of the exhaust system.

Monitor all possible fluid leaks.

Check transmission oil level.

Check the oil level in the rear axle.

In four-wheel drive vehicles, check the oil level in the junction box.

Check the condition of the protective covers of the drive shafts.

Check steering and suspension components.

Check the oil level in the power steering.

Check the operation of the door locks and latches and lubricate them.

Check and clean the drainage channels in the door.

Lubricate all hinges and locks.

Check the operation of the hood latch and lubricate it.

Check the condition of the paint and varnish coating of the body and the anticorrosion protection of the bottom and hidden cavities and, if necessary, restore them.

Clean the drain to remove condensed moisture when the air conditioner is running.

Check the condition of the front and rear brake pads.

Check the tread height of the tires.

Tighten wheel nuts.

Check the condition and ventilation of the crankcase ventilation hoses.

Check the condition and, if necessary, adjust the accelerator cable.

Check and adjust clutch pedal travel.

Check the operation of the hand brake.

Check the air conditioning system.
