Fast idle speed adjustment
1 - stepped fast idle washer,
2 - the location of the adjusting screw on the middle step of the stepped washer
1. Adjust idle speed and fuel mixture quality.
2. Warm up the engine to operating temperature and remove the air filter housing.
3. Open the throttle slightly, then close until the adjusting screw is in the third (middle) fast idle step washer, and release the throttle.
4. Start the engine without touching the gas pedal and check the engine speed.
5. If necessary, adjust the engine speed by turning the fast idle speed adjustment screw. Press and release the accelerator pedal. Make sure the engine returns to idle speed.
6. Shut off the engine, disconnect the tachometer and install the air filter housing.
