Assembly and adjustment of the Weber 2V carburetor

Float level adjustment

1. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.

2. Reassemble the carburetor cover, check and, if necessary, adjust the float level.

3. Check the float adjustment by setting the top of the carburetor so that the needle valve is closed, but the valve ball must not be recessed. Measure the distance from the top of the carburetor gasket to the bottom of the float. If the resulting size does not match the required one, bend the persistent tongue on the float.

4. Install the upper part of the carburetor and the remaining previously removed elements.

5. Install stepper motor.

6. Adjust air damper gap.
