Throttle Pusher Assembly
1 - fuel inlet pipe, 2 - air damper, 3 - accelerator pump, 4 - diaphragm pusher lever, 5 - plastic cover, 6 - throttle damper, 7 - secondary chamber throttle vacuum diaphragm
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery and the air filter housing.
2. Remove damper vacuum hose.
3. Remove the plastic shield from the throttle damper.
4. Unscrew the two mounting screws, remove the control rod from the throttle body and remove the assembly from the carburetor.
5. Unscrew the four mounting screws, remove the diaphragm cover and remove the spring.
6. Remove diaphragm from housing.
7. Clean mating surfaces of housing and diaphragm cover.
8. Install the diaphragm, spring, cover into the housing and screw the cover fastening screws.
9. Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly, but before installing the plastic screen, check the adjustment of the throttle damper.
