Coolant drain

Warning. Care must be taken when opening the expansion tank cap on a hot engine, as escaping hot vapors can cause severe burns.

Warning. Do not allow coolant to come into contact with clothing and paintwork of the body, otherwise rinse the surface with plenty of water.

1. Disconnect ground wire from battery.

2. Place a clean container under the vehicle to drain the coolant from the cooling system.

3. Remove the plug from the expansion tank.

4. Unscrew the drain plug in the radiator and drain the coolant from the system.
