Removal and installation of the electric fan

1. Disconnect ground wire from battery.

2. To provide additional working space when removing the cooling fan shroud (which is removed from under the car), raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.

3. Disconnect the wires from the engine and remove the wiring from the fan cowl brackets.

4. Disconnect expansion tank hose from fan shroud.

5. Remove the two bolts securing the fan shroud to the top of the heatsink, then tilt the top of the shroud away from the heatsink and remove the shroud to release the bottom mounting brackets. Remove the fan from under the car.

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
