Removal and installation of a back sealing ring of a cranked shaft

Special mandrel for installing the rear crankshaft sealing ring

1. Remove gearbox.

2. Remove clutch.

3. Remove flywheel and engine guard.

4. To remove the crankshaft rear sealing ring, drill two small holes in the ring, screw two self-tapping screws into them and pull out the sealing ring with pliers by the heads of the self-tapping screws.

5. Clean the sealing ring seat.

6. Lubricate the working edges of the new sealing ring with fresh engine oil and, using a special mandrel, install it in the seat with the working edges inward.

7. Install flywheel.
