RPM and crankshaft position sensor

RPM and crankshaft position sensor (bottom view)

The sensor is located on the right rear side of the cylinder block, behind the oil filter.

1. Remove the negative cable from the battery.

2. Access is most accessible from below the car. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.

3. Disconnect the wire connector from the sensor.

4. Unscrew the sensor from the engine block.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
