Replacing the camshaft sealing ring
1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery and drain the liquid from the cooling system (see subsection 4.2.1).
2. Disconnect the upper and lower flexible pipes from the radiator.
3. Remove toothed belt guard. Loosen the bolts of the tensioner, move its roller, overcoming the resistance of the spring, and tighten the bolts of the tensioner (see fig. Removing the toothed belt tensioner using wrench 21.012).
4. Remove toothed belt.
5. Remove the pulley and longitudinal mounting plate from the camshaft.
6. Remove the camshaft seal using tool 21.008 A.
7. Lubricate the new camshaft sealing ring with oil, install it in special tool 21.009 A and press the ring into the cylinder head.
8. Install the base plate and pulley on the camshaft.
9. Put on a toothed belt, install the crankshaft and camshafts according to the marks (see fig. Installing signs of the gas distribution system).
10. Tension toothed belt with tensioner (see fig. Removing the toothed belt tensioner using wrench 21.012).
11. Install the toothed belt guard.
Connect the elastic pipes of the cooling system to the radiator (upper and lower).
Fill the cooling system with liquid and remove air from it.
Connect ground wire to battery.
