Checking the clearances in the timing gears

1. Check if the gear teeth are damaged, if there are signs of excessive wear, as indicated by noise during operation.

2. The free play between the camshaft gear and the crankshaft gear must not exceed 0.27 mm; this clearance must be checked at four different points around the perimeter of the gear.
