Crankcase ventilation system

The closed crankcase ventilation system is designed to relieve the pressure of gases breaking through into the crankcase. The operation of the system is carried out by sucking in a certain amount of air during the operation of the engine and the operation of the crankcase ventilation valve.

The system is known as the forced crankcase ventilation system, the advantage of the system is that when the gas breakthrough exceeds the valve capacity of the named system, the excess gases are directed to the engine through the air cleaner.

Every 30,000 km, remove the valve and hose from the right head cover and flush the valve in solvent. Check if the valve moves freely. Install the valve in place.

Check the condition of the connecting hoses of the system, whether the connections are well tightened.
