Lock cylinder, trunk lid lock (Scorpio II)

A car with a pronounced angle between the rear window and the luggage compartment.

Withdrawal

Open the luggage compartment lid.

Remove trim from luggage compartment lid see previous chapter.



Use a screwdriver to press the spring clip to the side.

To provide access to the lock, remove the drive mechanism from the cover.



Remove the spacer.



Press the lock cylinder into the cover sheet and remove towards the inside. Rotate the drive mechanism by 90°and remove the linkage.

Unscrew the 4 fixing screws and remove the lock from the luggage compartment lid.



Remove the central locking microswitch from the lock. To do this, push the microswitch down and fold it out.

If necessary, unscrew the 2 screws securing the central mashing executive motor to the lock.

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
