Withdrawal
Remove door trim.
Remove the black plastic clips from the door edge. Carefully peel off the protective film.
Attention: The film tears very easily.
Disconnect the drive rod between the lock cylinder and the door lock.
Disconnect the multi-pin connector of the door lock motor. Unscrew the bolts -B- for the locking motor and unfasten the drive rod. D - wire clamp.
Remove 3 bolts -E- for door lock and disconnect multi-pin connector.
Unscrew the screw -A- securing the door release mechanism and remove the remote control towards the rear to separate it from the door leaf.
Detach two bushings -C- from the door leaf.
Pull the lock assembly behind the window glass shaft through the large opening.
Detach the door release drive linkage from the lock.
Installation
Before installing the door lock, clean the drive rods and apply universal grease to the places with which they go in the bushings.
Attach the door release drive rod to the lock.
Install the lock assembly through a large opening into the installation position, screw in and tighten the 3 fastening bolts.
Attach the door release mechanism. Attach bushings for drive rods.
Press the locking lever of the door release mechanism to the locking position and push the unlocking lever fully back. Insert and tighten the screw securing the release mechanism.
Check whether the unlocking mechanism functions correctly when the lock is locked, if necessary, adjust it.
Connect the multi-pin connector of the door lock.
Attach the door lock motor rod and screw the motor to the door. Connect the multi-pin connector of the motor.
Hook the drive rod between the lock cylinder and the door lock.
Attention. If the protective film is not adhered correctly, drafts will occur in the passenger compartment when the vehicle is moving.
Install door trim.
