Removal and installation of the front bumper (Scorpio I)

Withdrawal

Raise the front of the car on the goats.



Loosen the bumper clamps on the underside of the car.



If equipped, release the bumper quick-release lock from the underside of the vehicle.

Using a socket wrench, remove the mounting bolts from the bumper adjustment mechanism.



Using a 24 mm socket wrench, unscrew the adjustment mechanism.

Remove the bumper from the vehicle in a horizontal motion.

Lay the bumper on a clean soft pad.

Installation

Push the bumper forward with a horizontal movement. At the same time, make sure that it is fixed with the side pins, and the ero holders enter the recesses from the back side.

Screw the mounting bolts into the adjustment mechanism and use it as a guide. Insert the adjustment mechanism.

Install the mounting clamps and, if available, the quick-release lock from the underside of the vehicle.

Adjust bumper.

Tighten the adjustment mechanism mounting bolts to 20 Nm.

Lower the car.
