Removal and installation of draft of the lock of a cowl (Scorpio II)

Withdrawal

Lift the interior lining around the hood release handle, 4 clips are released.

Unscrew the 3 screws securing the handle.

Detach the cable tie from the handle and from the counter-support.



Remove screws -A- for bonnet latch and remove latch.

Loosen the pull rod of the engine compartment bonnet lock at the counter support -B- and the lever -C- and remove the pull rod.

Installation

Lay the hood lock rod in the engine compartment.

Attention: When laying the rod, do not sharply bend it.

Hang the rod at the counter-support and the bonnet lock lever.

Attach the hood latch and tighten the fastening screws.

Pass the hood lock rod through the rubber insert in the front wall.

Hang the rod on the anti-support of the handle for unlocking the hood lock.

Attach the rod to the handle and screw the handle with three screws.

Fasten the trim around the handle.
