Safety instructions: Brake fluid is poisonous. Never suck out brake fluid by mouth through a hose. Pour brake fluid only into containers from which accidental use is excluded.
Brake fluid is caustic and must therefore not come into contact with car paint, otherwise wipe it off immediately and rinse the contact area with plenty of water.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic, i.e. it absorbs moisture from the air. Therefore, store brake fluid only in closed containers.
Brake fluid that has already been used in the brake system must not be reused. When bleeding the brake system, also use only new brake fluid.
Use only FORD SUPER DOT 4 or ESD-M6C57 A brake fluid.
Brake fluid must not come into contact with grease or mineral oils. Even slight traces of mineral oil make the brake fluid unusable or lead to failure of the brake system.
Change the brake fluid every 2 years or 60,000 vehicle runs, if possible, replace after the cold season.
Take the old brake fluid to your local special waste officer and do not dispose of it in the sewer system. Do not mix old brake fluid with used engine oil.
