Removal and installation of a diffuser of a headlight

Withdrawal

Remove headlight.

Remove the bulbs for the headlight and parking light.



Vehicles up to 8/94: Place a suitable screwdriver on the recesses on the side of the housing and press out the spring clips -arrows-. Remove the headlight lens together with the gasket.



Cars from 9/94: unfasten the 4 studs securing the lens to the reflector assembly. If necessary, remove the reflector unit from the hinges, see figure.

Installation

Cars up to 8/94: fit the diffuser together with the seal.

Caution: Make sure that the gasket is in the correct mounting position. Attach the spring clamps to the provided places at the edge of the diffuser and press them by hand over the edge of the housing.

Vehicles since 9/94: if removed, secure the reflector assembly to the hinges. After that, fasten the diffuser to the reflector assembly with four earrings.

Install headlight.
