Visual control of transmission tightness

Oil leaks are possible in the following places:

• The junction of the crankcase and gearbox (flywheel seal / gearbox shaft seal)
• Filler/drain plug
• Driveshaft at gearbox

When searching for leaks, it is advisable to proceed as follows:

Clean the gearbox housing with a cleaning agent.

Check oil level, top up if necessary.

Sprinkle potential leaks with chalk or talcum powder.

To make the oil liquid, it is recommended to perform a test drive of approximately 30 km on the highway.

After that, raise the car on the goats and inspect the gearbox with a lamp for oil leaks.

Urgently eliminate the causes of detected oil leaks.
