Attention: Depending on the model, the vehicle may be equipped with a load control system for the drive wheels. This system prevents uncontrolled slipping of the drive wheels when the vehicle accelerates. Regulation is carried out by braking each wheel separately using the ABS / TCS module. Additionally, if necessary, through the control motor, which covers the throttle despite the pressing of the accelerator pedal, the engine power is reduced. In this case, there are two gas thrusts: one thrust is from the accelerator pedal to the control motor. and the second from the control motor to the throttle lever.
Adjustment, vehicle with drive wheel load control system
Disconnect ground wire (-) battery.
Attention. When the battery is disconnected, the contents of the electronic memory devices are erased, for example for engine fault codes or radio codes Before disconnecting, also read the instructions in chapter "Removing and installing the battery".
Remove the adjusting clips from the adjusting elements in front of and behind the control motor. Pull the cable ends out of the housings.
Disconnect the multi-pin plug at the control motor. Insert suitable pins into the alignment holes of the belt pulleys at the control motor. As a result, the belt pulleys are locked.
Pull the gas draft nipple out of the segment slot on the throttle shaft.
Press the accelerator pedal once to the stop and release. This sets the throttle thrust between the accelerator pedal and the control motor.
Insert the adjusting clip at the adjusting element in front of the control motor.
Insert the throttle link nipple into the segment slot on the throttle shaft.
Press the accelerator pedal one more time to the stop and release it. Due to this, the gas thrust between the control motor and the throttle valve is set.
Insert the adjusting clip at the adjusting element behind the control motor.
Remove pins from belt pulleys.
Connect the multi-pin plug at the control motor.
Connect ground wire to battery (-). Set the existing clock and enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
Adjustment, vehicle without drive wheel load control
Pull out the adjusting clip -1- at the throttle control adjuster.
Pull out throttle cable -2- at adjusting element slightly.
Press the accelerator pedal all the way (full throttle) and fix in this position. To do this, clamp a suitable board between the seat and the accelerator pedal or ask an assistant to hold the pedal
Compress the gas draft sheath at the adjusting element so that the throttle lever, and in the case of a diesel engine, the injection pump lever is in the position corresponding to full load. Insert the adjusting clip in this position again.
Release the accelerator pedal, then depress it again to the stop and check that the throttle lever is in contact with the full load stop (for a diesel engine, the injection pump lever). If the full load position is not reached, repeat the adjustment.
