Hood lock
1 - locknut for fixing the hood pin, 2 - hood lock pin
The hood is hung on two loops along the rear edge. Enlarged holes in the brackets for fastening the hinges on the hood allow you to adjust the position of the hood in the opening of the body. When adjusting, loosen the hinge bolts, shift the hood so that the gaps between it and the wings are the same, and tighten the bolts.
The front of the hood rests on rubber buffers. By screwing in or out of the rubber buffers, you can adjust the front of the hood in height.
The hood in the closed position is fixed by the pin (2), which is screwed into the hood and locked with a lock nut. By changing the position of the pin in height, the hood is adjusted in relation to the front surfaces of the front fenders. In case of unreliable locking of the hood with a lock, loosen the locknut of the pin and displace it due to the enlarged hole in the hood, achieving alignment with the lock socket. After adjustment is complete, tighten the locknut.
