The power steering system is a helical rack and pinion power steering from ZF or Cam Gear.
Hydraulic vane pump from Saginaw. The safety steering column has a two-piece steering wheel shaft with a cross joint, as well as a deformable shaft cover fixed under the front panel and compressible in the event of a frontal collision.
