Withdrawal

1. Remove the protective cap of the rear wheel and loosen the wheel nuts.

2. Raise and secure the rear of the vehicle, remove the appropriate rear wheel.

3. Remove brake drum (see subsection 10.3).

4. Detach axle shaft from suspension arm (see subsection 7.11.1).

5. Disconnect the brake hose (without unscrewing it) from the underfloor holder after removing the U-lock.

6. Place a jack under the suspension arm and raise the arm so that the entire load is on the suspension spring.

7. Unbolt the lower shock absorber (berlin body, pictured) or remove shock absorber (combi body).

8. Unscrew the bolts securing the rear axle beam to the body from the corresponding side after bending the safety gasket and unscrewing the bolt securing the metal-rubber bushing (8, see fig. Rear suspension), as well as two bolts securing the support of this bushing to the body.

9. Carefully lower the lever.

10. Remove the suspension spring together with the rubber support cup.

11. Remove the rear axle of rotation of the lever from the beam and remove the lever.

Installation

1. Fasten the suspension arm to the rear axle beam without final tightening.

2. Install the spring together with the rubber support cup on the suspension arm.

3. Raise the jack in order to put the spring in its proper place.

Attention! In vehicles with a combi body, a shock absorber must be installed at the same time as the spring.

4. Attach the metal-rubber bushing of the rear axle beam to the body by tightening its fastening bolts to the appropriate torques.

5. Install the lower shock mount (in vehicles with a combi body), as well as the brake hose on the holder under the floor of the body and fix it.

6. Take out the jack.

7. Fully install axle shaft with wheel hub. Attach the wheel hub with four new bolts to the suspension arm, tightening to the correct torque.

8. Install the plastic casing of the outer drive joint of the axle shaft from inside the bearing brake shield.

9. Install the brake drum.

10. Install the wheel, tighten the wheel nuts, lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts to the correct torque.

11. Move the suspension arm several times and tighten to the appropriate torque to connect the arm to the rear axle beam.
