Checking the brake fluid level

            0

The brake fluid level in the reservoir should be checked at least once a week. It is not allowed to decrease below the minimum level. With a working brake system, the brake fluid should be topped up to the maximum level every 10,000 km of the car. In the case of a faster decrease in its level, the place of depressurization of the brake system should be established and eliminated.

Brake fluid will damage the painted surface. When adding brake fluid, do not let it get on the car body. Otherwise, immediately wash off the spilled liquid with cold water.

Checking the brake fluid level in vehicles with anti-lock braking system (ABS)

1. Switch off the ignition.

2. Depress the brake pedal at least 20 times until there is significant resistance (the so-called hard brake pedal).

3. Turn the key to position I.

4. Wait until the ABS hydraulic pump stops.

5. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir, which should be between the signs "MIN" And "MAX".

Checking the tightness of the brake system

The condition and tightness of the pipelines of the brake system should be checked every 20,000 km of the car.
