Attention! The main fuse and relay box is located at the rear of the engine compartment on the left side.
Additional fuses are located in the box under the front panel on the right side (between the middle part of the front panel and the glove box) and this:
- fuse N30 (20 A - green) – anti-lock wheel system (ABS);
- fuse N31 (30 A - purple) – ABS pump;
- fuse N32 (15 A - yellow) – lambda probe;
- fuse N35 (1 A - black) – electronic control device (cars with catalytic converter).
In addition, the following fuses are located on the individual power supply wires:
- main fuse (OK. 55 A) - On the wire (+) battery;
- on-board computer (1 A) – under the instrument panel;
- radio receiver (2 A; 2.5 A; 3.15 A or 6.3 A) – on the power cord or on the back of the radio.
Additionally, in vehicles with air conditioning, a fuse is installed in an additional fuse box in the engine compartment (on the right side).
Since September 1985, the connection of fuses and relays in electrical equipment has been modified.
Circuit breakers
The main fuse and relay box may contain the following relays:
- N A: free space;
- N B: additional headlight for daytime driving (only Sweden and Norway) or rear fog lights;
- N C: sound signal;
- ND: engine management system;
- N E: electric adjustment and heating of the outside rear-view mirror;
- NF: low beam headlights;
- NG: heated front seats;
- N H: front fog lamps;
- NI: ignition switch;
- N II: main headlight for daytime driving (only Sweden and Norway);
- N III: headlight wiper;
- N IV: free space;
- NV: windshield wiper programmer;
- N VI: temporary interior lighting switch;
- N VII: anti-lock wheels (ABS);
- N VIII: automatic transmission kick-down mechanism;
- N IX: fuel pump (additional air conditioning);
- N X: high beam headlights;
- N XI: engine management systems;
- N XII: safe engine start (starter lock) in vehicles with automatic transmission.
In the engine compartment (near the left wall) It could be the engine speed sensor relay.
In a box under the front panel on the right side (between the middle part of the front panel and the glove box) may contain the following relays:
- anti-lock wheels (ABS);
- fuel injection systems;
- heated rear window;
- auxiliary warning indicator relay.
Near the steering column holder is a turn signal switch.
