Clutch pedal replacement — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch lever and pedal without removing the cable.

2. Remove spring clip and spacer from clutch pedal shaft.

3. Remove clutch pedal assembly.

4. Remove the bushings from both sides of the pedal and remove the toothed segment.

5. Remove spring.

6. Remove one of the fixing brackets from the latch axle, remove the axle and the latch with the spring.

7. Clean the parts of the mechanism and determine the degree of wear.

Installation

1. Lubricate the latch axle and gear sector with graphite grease and install on the pedal.

2. Insert the gear sector with the spring into the pedal and secure with two bushings.

3. Raise the latch and rotate the sector so that the latch rests on a smooth surface behind the teeth.

4. Install the spring turning the gear sector.

5. Install clutch pedal with spacer.

6. Connect clutch cable.
