Circuit breakers — general information

Circuit breakers protect various accessories such as windshield wiper, horn, cigarette lighter, etc. Circuit breakers are located in the fuse box (see picture).



The location of the circuit breakers in your particular vehicle is given in the fuse panel diagram in section 4 and the diagram of the fuse panel in the manual supplied with the vehicle

• A) remove the breaker from the fuse panel.
• b) Use an ohmmeter to check for continuity between both contacts of the breaker. If there is no continuity, replace the breaker.
• V) install a new or old breaker. If it continues to disconnect the circuit, then there is a short circuit in the circuit. Diagnose the appropriate circuit (see wiring diagrams at the end of this book).
