Connectors — general information

Always disengage the tab locks before attempting to disconnect female connectors. There are many designs of reed locks (see picture). The lock can usually be opened with a finger or a small screwdriver.

Insert a small flat screwdriver under the tongue and turn outward, taking the wires and pull them in different directions.
