General information

This part of the second chapter is devoted to repair concerns in a four-cylinder engine not removed from the car. In part C of this chapter, you can find all the information regarding the removal and installation of the engine, repairs that require the removal of the engine and overhaul of the block and cylinder heads.

The following is a description of the repair procedures carried out with the condition that the engine is installed inside the car. For an engine removed from a vehicle and installed on a stand, many of the recommendations in this part of Chapter 2 are not applicable.
