General information

This part of chapter 2 includes information related to the overhaul of the head (heads) cylinder block internal parts of the engine.

The following sections are written on the assumption that the engine is removed from the vehicle. Information regarding the repair of a non-removed engine, as well as the removal and installation of external elements necessary for overhaul, is given in parts A and IN of this chapter and section 5.

In Part C, only those specifications are given that are necessary for inspection and overhaul procedures. Additional specifications are available in parts A and IN.
