1. Broken cable (chapter 8).
2. Damaged or damp disc clutch (chapter 8).
3. Torn or dry clutch opens shaft bushings (chapter 8).
28. Clutch slip (as the engine speed increases, the speed of the car does not increase)
1. Clutch misaligned (chapter 8).
2. Clutch discs are oily or there is a gap in the lining. Disassemble the clutch (chapter 8) and inspect.
3. The clutch discs are not worked out, a new clutch needs 30-40 starts to run in.
29. Chatter (vibration) with the clutch engaged
1. Oil on disc clutch lining. Disassemble (chapter 8) and inspect Check for any possibility of leakage.
2. Worn or loose engine or transmission mounts. These nodes move slightly when the clutch is disengaged. Check holders and bolts (chapter 2).
3. Worn splines or disc clutch hubs. Disassemble clutch and inspect (chapter 8).
4. Warped clutch pressure plate or flywheel. Disassemble the clutch elements and inspect.
30. Squealing or rumble when the clutch is disengaged (pedal not pressed)
1. Worn release bearing (chapter 8).
2. Clutch pressure plate springs (diaphragm spring blades) worn out or broken.
31. The pedal does not rise when the clutch is disengaged
