Jacking
Warning: The car jack can only be used to raise the car when changing tires or placing frame stands. Never work under a machine or start the engine while it is supported by only one such jack.
The vehicle must be parked on a level surface without slopes Move the gear lever to the position "parking" in an automatic transmission or put it in first gear in a manual transmission. Lock the wheel diagonally opposite the wheel to be changed. Apply the parking brake.
Install a scissor jack on the side of the vehicle so that it fits into the recess in the vertical panel of the flange closest to the wheel to be changed. There are recesses for jacking the car on each side of the front and rear (cm drawing).
Warning: When lifting the vehicle by other means, special care must be taken to damage the fuel tank, tank filler, exhaust system or underbody.
Towing
If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission. then it can be towed on four wheels no more than 55 km / h for a distance of 80 km. The distance limit does not apply to vehicles with manual transmission. Only special equipment should be used for towing. attached to the load-bearing parts of the vehicle structure. in no case to the bumper or suspension.
